They challenge three of them to put their skills to the test and create something truly spectacular in just ten weeks and with only £2,500. Sara and Piers then choose their favourite to win the competition. The three backyard inventors let their imaginations run wild as they attempt to build a sweet-dispensing carousel, an automated breakfast maker and a giant robot. Britain is a nation of inventors and in back gardens all over the country people are building ingenious, eccentric and brilliantly bonkers creations.
